Getting to the Anglesey Showground
The Anglesey County Show ground is situated at Mona, near Gwalchmai on the A5, approximately 3.8 miles from Junction 6 of the A55.
Dogs
Visitors are welcome to bring dogs to the showground as long as they are kept on a lead and remain under control. Owners are also responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.
Please note: dogs are strictly not permitted in the Griffiths Hall, Horizon Shopping and Exhibition Hall, Cattle Building, Produce Marquee and all Food Courts.
First Aid
This id provided by Medic 1. First aid posts are situated in the YFC Building near the Cattle Ring and Light Horse back rings.
Lost and Found Children
Lost children will be dealt with by the Police. If a child (or other vulnerable person) is found, or reported lost, immediate contact should be made with the Police or any show steward, show security and the Police personnel will make their way to you. Once reported people should wait until the Police arrive.
Catering and Bars
Restaurant/Bar facilities are available for Members and Vice President in the Members Marquee. The Stockmans restaurant behind the Horizon Shopping and Exhibition Hall also serves meals and breakfast for the general public, stockmen and members. Numerous mobile catering units around the Showground provide a wide choice of Snacks, Ice Cream, Sandwiches and Drinks. There is a Public Bar in the Entertainment area that sell alcoholic drinks.
Hand Washing
It is recommended that anyone coming into direct contact with animals should wash their hands immediately afterwards and before eating.
Baby Changing
Facilities for changing and feeding babies are kindly provided. Their unit is situated by the Sheep pens.

Toilets
Toilets are situated all around the showground. Facilities for disabled visitors are also available at these points.
Does a disabled person get in free?
All visitors to the Anglesey County Show must purchase a ticket to enter. However, if you require the assistance of an appointed carer in order to access the Show then your carer would be permitted free of charge to the Anglesey County Show.
Disabled visitors and Mobility ScootersByw Bywyd - Living Life Cyf will again offer mobility scooter and manual wheelchair hire at this year's show. Their stand will be near the main entrance. Electric scooters and manual wheelchairs are available by advance booking only. Contact Byw Bywyd at 01286 830 101 or post@byw-bywyd.co.uk. We have also improved accessibility by tarmacing the lane near the main ring.
Health & Safety
To ensure the show is a safe space for everyone, we kindly ask you to take responsibility for your own health and safety, as well as that of others. We want everyone to enjoy the show safely. If you notice anything that could pose a risk, please report it immediately to the show steward or the show office near the main ring.
Third Party Liability
The Society, its officers, or volunteers shall not be liable for any person on the Society’s premises, or while entering or leaving them, for any damage or loss to their property, regardless of the cause, or for any injury, fatal or otherwise, to any such person. The Society, its officers, or servants shall not be responsible for any accident or loss, regardless of the cause, that may occur to exhibitors or their servants, or to any animal, article, or property brought onto the showground. Each exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any loss, injury, or damage caused by or to any animal, article, or property exhibited or brought onto the showground and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Society against all actions, suits, expenses, and claims related to any such damage or injury.
Bio-Security Arrangements
As part of APHA regulations, the Society has adopted the motto of ‘Be clean and be seen to be clean’ and ask the public and exhibitors alike give their full co-operation. Entry to the cloven-hoofed livestock area will be across disinfected mats. Please ensure that your footwear is visibly clean on entry AND exit from the livestock area. Brushes and containers of disinfectant will be situated at each entry point should you wish to ensure the cleanliness of your footwear. The public are requested strictly not to touch the animals. Your full co-operation is essential for the Society to comply with the APHA regulations relating to bio-security arrangements, which have enabled us to have cloven hoofed livestock at the show.
