Mark your calendars - the Anglesey Winter Show is back for its 31st year, on November 9th and 10th, 2024, at the Jones Bros Pavilion and Cadarn Hall, Anglesey Showground, Gwalchmai, Holyhead, LL65 4RW. Known for its welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere, the Winter Show provides a unique opportunity for farmers, local businesses, and the wider community to come together and celebrate Welsh rural life. Held entirely indoors within purpose-built, heated exhibition halls, the event ensures comfort and accessibility for all, rain or shine.
The Anglesey Winter Show features two full days of events and activities, designed to entertain, educate, and inspire, the event celebrates the hard work and resilience of the rural community in the weeks leading up to Christmas.
Event Highlights:
Saturday, November 9:
o Competitions for Cattle, Sheep, Produce, Eggs, and Cooking.
o Crafts and Children’s Competitions for all ages.
Sunday, November 10th:
o Exciting competitions for Horses, Dogs.
o Pets Corner for animal lovers.
Trade Stands: With over 40 trade stands, attendees can explore a wide variety of goods, from handcrafted items and charity displays to local business offerings and agricultural trades.
Santa Claus Visit: Thanks to Anglesey Young Farmers, Santa Claus himself will be joining us again this year on both days between 11am and 1pm in the Santa’s Grotto.

Opening Hours:
o Saturday, November 9, 2024 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
o Sunday, November 10, 2024 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Entry Fees:
o General admission: £5 cash only
o Children under 16: Free
o YFC Members 16 and over: £2 with a valid membership card
Parking:
Free parking is available on the Showground, with ample space for all attendees.
Catering:
Hot and cold food options will be available throughout the event.
Baby Changing & Accessible Facilities:
Baby changing facilities are located in the Jones Bros Pavilion within the disabled toilet area. All areas of the Show are accessible to wheelchair users, with forward parking with Blue Badge and accessible restrooms.
